PROFESSIONAL BIOGRAPHPY

Karen is the Director of Professional Education and Outreach Programs. As a senior member of our staff, Karen has assisted in starting many of the Moog Curriculum Schools and has organized the placement of directors, teachers and other staff at these facilities. She has worked closely with several universities in supervising student teacher placements. Karen is an instructor in the Master of Science in Deaf Education Program in Audiology and Communication Sciences at Washington University School of Medicine.  She teaches Speech for the Hearing Impaired Child with Chris Gustus.  She is also an adjunct professor at Illinois State University. She has co-authored several Moog Center publications sharing her knowledge on "how to" and mainstreaming. She has lectured extensively throughout the US.
